WE HAVE A STUDIO AT THE KROWJI!

We are excited to announce our new studio at the KROWJI in Redruth, we are located in W12 studio which is located half way up the stairs from the front entrance. We share it with Rachael Osborne a very talented silversmith. 

This bank holiday weekend KROWJI is taking part in the Open studios Cornwall and we will be welcoming craft lovers to our W12 studio with an array of beautiful handmade MAMM + MYRGH pieces for sale plus its a really amazing opportunity to talk to us about our bespoke and repairs service. There are around 50 designers taking part so it would be a brilliant day out to get inspired and take home some beautifully crafted pieces.

MAMM + MYRGH Goldsmiths gets a mention on the Guild Of Jewellery Designers Website...

We recently exhibited in New Designers 2016 show at the Business Design Centre in Islington, it was a fantastic show and an amazing opportunity to launch our new collections! While we were there we got an opportunity to meet Jayne Coulson an editor from The Guild Of Jewellery Designers. She wrote a lovely piece about MAMM + MYRGH in the New Designer 2016 article.

“A lovely story here: Amanda was a jobbing jeweller who was persuaded by her daughter to pursue a degree at Truro and explore her artistic talents. Now mother and daughter have teamed up and gone into business together, creating Mamm & Myrgh (Cornish for Mother & Daughter). The story is lovely enough on its own, but the jewellery that this talented pair have created is lovelier - sensitive and tactile pieces inspired by the sea and by the John Waterhouse painting ‘A Mermaid’. Chain links are designed like seaweed pods, embellished with gemstones and special attention has been lavished on the surface finish, leaving it fresh and suede-like.
